You'll never feel the same way about another car. You wont get enough money for it to make you feel good about your decision. Yes gas is up but so what, theres nothing like driving a car you love. Keep your foot out of it and buy cheaper tires. Get a better rate from a competing insurance provider. Find ways to save some cash per year and that will help make up for some of the difference. You used the word passion, well don't give up on your passion. A man needs his escape and I believe the best way is flooring a gas pedal, regardless of gas cost.
